That summer, Stauskas was traded to the Indiana Pacers, who waived him.

Since his contract was stretched out, the Pacers will still pay Stauskas $702,311 until the end of the 2024-25 season (h/t Sam Yip of HoopsHypeSpotrac and ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski).

Stauskas was initially the eighth pick in the 2014 NBA Draft after an excellent two-year college career playing for Michigan.

He helped the Wolverines reach the 2013 Final Four and 2014 Elite 8.

Stauskas played six seasons in the NBA for the Philadelphia 76ers, Sacramento Kings, Portland Trail Blazers, Brooklyn Nets, Cleveland Cavaliers, Boston Celtics and Miami Heat

His career averages are 6.7 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists per contest while shooting 38.9% from the field and 35.4% from the three-point range in 343 regular season games.

The 30 year old also spent time in the G League and has career averages of 20.9 points, 4.9 rebounds and 4.1 assists per contest while shooting 46.2% from the field and 39.9% from the three-point range in 31 regular season games.
